The LACORS (the Local Authorities Coordinators of Regulatory Services), TSI (The Trading Standards Institute) and IHS Joint Venture

IHS is in a tri-partite partnership with LACORS and the Trading Standards Institute. The Trading Standards Specialist has been produced by the partnership and is an online database of legislation for trading standards, food and environmental health professionals.

LACORS (the Local Authorities Coordinators of Regulatory Services)

LACORS (the Local Authorities Coordinators of Regulatory Services) provides advice and guidance to help support local authority regulatory and related services. It was set up in 1978 to coordinate the enforcement activities of trading standards. Since 1991, LACORS has also worked on food safety and is currently responsible for a range of other regulatory and related services.

TSI (The Trading Standards Institute)

The Trading Standards Institute (formerly the Institute of Trading Standards Administration - ITSA) is a professional association formed in 1881. It represents Trading Standards professionals in the UK and overseas - in local authorities, the business and consumer sectors and in central government.
