IHS and the UK Transport Research Laboratory sign partnering agreement!

ENGLEWOOD, Colorado, and London, UK – 1st September 2006 – IHS, the leading worldwide provider of critical technical information and decision-support tools including the UK’s leading online service for construction professionals - The Construction Information Service (CIS), announced today that the company has signed a sole partnership agreement with the UK Transport Research Laboratory (TRL), the internationally recognised independent centre of excellence that provides world class impartial research, consultancy, advice and testing covering all aspects of transport.

This agreement grants IHS the rights to include a wide range of TRL reports, leaflets, technical guidance and design data in The Construction Information Service (CIS), the leading source of information for architects, civil and structural engineers, building control officers, building services engineers and other professionals in the construction industry. The Construction Information Service (CIS) provides fundamental industry information and legislation, as well as additional sector material with an extensive range of full-text documents covering all aspects of the building, engineering, design and construction process.
