IHS and Steel Construction Institute sign partnering agreement!

Obtain a quoteENGLEWOOD, Colorado, and London, UK – July 4, 2006 – IHS, the leading worldwide provider of critical technical information and decision-support tools including the UK’s leading on-line service for construction professionals - The Construction Information Service (CIS) announced today that the company has signed a sole partnership agreement with the Steel Construction Institute (SCI), one of the world’s largest research and technical organisations supporting the use of steel in construction.

This agreement grants IHS the rights to include a wide range of SCI technical guidance, design data and electronic material in The Construction Information Service (CIS), the leading source of information for architects, civil and structural engineers, building control officers, building services engineers and other professionals in the construction industry. The Construction Information Service (CIS) provides fundamental industry information and legislation, as well as additional sector material with an extensive range of full-text documents covering all aspects of the building, engineering, design and construction process.
