IHS and The Chartered Institute of Building Sign New Sole Partnering Agreement
LONDON and ENGLEWOOD, Colorado – 4th October 2006 – IHS, a leading worldwide provider of critical technical information and decision-support tools including the UK’s leading online service for construction professionals - The Construction Information Service - announced today that the company has signed a sole partnership agreement with The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), the leading international body for managers in construction.
This agreement grants IHS the sole rights to include a wide range of CIOB publications in The Construction Information Service, the leading source of technical information for structural engineers, architects, civil engineers, building control officers, building services engineers and other professionals in the construction industry. The Construction Information Service provides fundamental industry information and legislation, as well as additional sector material with an extensive range of full-text documents covering all aspects of the building, engineering, design and construction process.
