IHS and The Concrete Society Sign New Sole Partnering Agreement

LONDON and ENGLEWOOD, Colorado – 11th December 2006 – IHS, a leading worldwide provider of critical technical information and decision-support tools including the UK’s leading online service for construction professionals – The Construction Information Service (CIS) - announced today that the company has signed a sole partnership agreement with The Concrete Society.  This partnership brings together all those with an interest in concrete, to exchange knowledge and experience across all disciplines, to promote excellence in design, construction, appearance and performance, and to encourage innovation.

This agreement grants IHS the sole rights to include a wide range of Concrete Society, British Cement Association and British Precast Concrete Federation  publications in The Construction Information Service (CIS), the leading source of technical information for structural engineers, architects, civil engineers, building control officers, building services engineers and other professionals in the construction industry. 

The Construction Information Service (CIS) is a unique knowledge tool that delivers key technical information critical to all construction projects in one easy-to-use on-line package. Developed by IHS and NBS, it provides instant full-text access to current regulations, standards, technical advice and a vast array of related news and briefings. ¬Fully searchable, intelligently classified and constantly updated, it is an indispensable source of key information, tailored to meet your real needs.
