IHS and the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health Announce Sole Partnering Agreement for Health, Safety and Environmental Health Information

BRACKNELL, UK (20 October 2008) — IHS Inc. (NYSE:IHS), a leading global source of critical information and insight, and The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) announced today a new collaborative agreement. The collaboration brings together access to comprehensive expert knowledge for Health, Safety and Environmental (H,S&E) professionals.

This agreement grants IHS the sole rights to include CIEH publications in The Occupational Health & Safety Information Service (OHSIS) a leading source of technical information for the H,S&E industry, including the development of joint publications and product initiatives to better support industry professionals in meeting their information needs. OHSIS is a fast, reliable, online platform for all health, safety & environment information, providing access to current legislation, guidance, standards and best practice documents. This agreement enhances the robust suite of OHSIS services.
