NISO appoints new chief executive

The National Irish Safety Organisation (NISO) has announced the appointment of Pierce Martin as chief executive.

It is understood that Mr. Martin, who currently works with the ESB and is an engineer by profession, will take up his NISO appointment on June 15th.

He has previously worked with the Institution of Engineers in Ireland, during which time he oversaw the implementation of a strategic review.
