The BSI and IHS Affiliation
IHS works in association with BSI to offer the most current British Standards Online. BSI content is also available through The Construction Information Service (CIS) and The Occupational Health & Safety Information Service. BSI British Standards is the National Standards Body of the UK and develops standards and standardisation solutions to meet the needs of business and society. They work with government, businesses and consumers to represent UK interests and facilitate the production of British, European and international standards.
Fire Protection Association (FPA)
The Fire Protection Association (FPA) and IHS have created a collaborative agreement to give subscribers access to key fire safety, fire prevention and fire protection advice, guidance and support in OHSIS - the UK’s leading daily updated online health & safety information service.
The agreement grants IHS the online rights to include FPA documents and publications in OHSIS, a leading source of technical information for the H,S&E industry. Publications will include design guides, risk controls, Fire Risk Management guidelines, Essentials of Fire Safety Management.
The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) and IHS Collaborative Agreement
This agreement grants IHS the sole rights to include CIEH publications in The Occupational Health & Safety Information Service (OHSIS) a leading source of technical information for the H,S&E industry, including the development of joint publications and product initiatives to better support industry professionals in meeting their information needs. The CIEH is a registered charity and the professional voice for environmental health. It sets standards, accredits courses and qualifications for the education of members and other environmental health practitioners.
The LACORS (the Local Authorities Coordinators of Regulatory Services), TSI (The Trading Standards Institute) and IHS Joint Venture
IHS is in a tri-partite partnership with LACORS and the Trading Standards Institute. The Trading Standards Specialist has been produced by the partnership and is an online database of legislation for trading standards, food and environmental health professionals.

As Content Editors for the Occupational Health and Safety Information Service (OHSIS) PSN and IHS proactively highlight key documents and important information areas that are critical for users of OHSIS. This relationship has been in practice since 2002 and provides users with the most up-to-date Health, Safety and Environmental information.
