ASME 2007 BPVC - ASME Boiler Pressure and Vessel Code
Produced by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the ASME Boiler Pressure and Vessel Code set is comprised of 28 separate volumes containing the necessary information for material specifications, rules for construction, fabrication and inspection of boilers and pressure vessels, including nuclear components.
The Code is issued in several loose-leaf sections, which you may purchase as a complete set or in separate topical sections. Updated every three years, the 2007 code provides you with the most up to date advancements and information to enable you to maintain your boilers and pressure vessels.
The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC) is internationally recognised as the core body of knowledge for the latest rules of safety for design, production, maintenance, and inspection of boilers and pressure vessels. Since 1914, ASME has been setting the standards necessary to ensure the safety of individuals working with or around boilers and pressure vessels. IHS, the worldwide leader for engineering, technical, and regulatory information, has been working with ASME since 1989 to publish the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code in easily accessible CD-ROM and Internet formats, and the hardcopy version of the Code. The entire collection of documents updates every three years with addenda published each year. In 2007 possession of the hardcopy Code is not required by all ASME stampholders, the IHS exclusive timesaving functionality available in the electronic format offers a flexible productivity tool not found anywhere else.
Stay Current with Updates on Referenced Standards
In addition to the Code updates, IHS provides all the critical ASME content related to the Code either as part of your subscription or as individual document purchases. The referenced standards available from IHS include more than 78 standards that are actually referenced within the Code and an additional 200+ ASME standards that we have identified as beneficial to users of the Code.
Save Time and Money with the ASME BPVC in Electronic Format
The IHS electronic version of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code is produced in Adobe PDF formats that appear exactly as the hardcopy Code. For many experienced Code users, this added familiarity with document layout can lead to further timesavings. Plus, you receive additional functionality available through Adobe Acrobat™ for enhanced viewing options. The ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code is available in a variety of packages including Hardcopy individual purchasing and Internet subscriptions. Internet subscriptions can be configured for one or unlimited users depending on the needs of your organisation. This is especially crucial for large organisations where incremental savings on additional licenses save money over purchasing several individual hardcopies. Electronic solutions for the BPVC also allow users access in the field.
