Construction Products Directive Standards Tracker
What is the Construction Product Directive (CPD)?
The Construction Products Directive (CPD) is one of the “New Approach” Directives that aim to create a single European market by removing the technical barriers to trade between Member States through the use of harmonised standards and approvals. The CPD applies to all construction products that are produced for, or incorporated within, building and civil engineering construction works. It harmonises all construction products subject to regulatory controls for CE marking purposes.
The CPD Standards Tracker
The CPD Standards Tracker lists the key British Standards that are used in the construction process and shows their future European replacements. Over the next few years there will be approximately 500 new harmonised European product standards, supporting the Construction Products Directive.
The CPD Standards Tracker provides online information covering the general position of the Construction Products Directive and its impact on the construction industry. It allows users to search for and identify the status of standards and related projects that could affect their future business.
