The IHSURC consists of the following databases:
Specs and Standards - The Specs & Standards database contains information from more than 450 different organisations from across the world, including a complete set of documents from ISO, IEC, CEN and CENELEC. Whatever you are interested in, if there are standards written about that subject, they will most likely be in this database. Anything from designing satellites to the colour fastness of textiles.
ESDU (Engineering Sciences Data Unit) - ESDU consists of validated engineering data covering more than 1,200 specific aerospace, construction, process, structural and mechanical engineering topics. Produced by consensus of committees for all engineering professionals, they have already proved it works.
IEEE - The IEEE/IEE Electronic Library (IEL) provides access to almost a third of the world's current electrical engineering and computer science literature, featuring high-quality content from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Institution of Electrical Engineers. Journals, magazines and conference proceedings as well as active IEEE standards are included with a complete archive back to 1988 and a selection of information going back to 1950.
TDNet - TDNet is an Electronic Journals Management System. It not only pulls all your e-journal subscriptions together into a cross searchable format but also allows you to browse the table of contents of some 25,000 online magazines. The IHSURC helps you to identify journals and locate articles relevant to your search term.
