Irish Construction Information Service (Irish CIS)

The Irish Construction Information Service is produced on behalf of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) by NBS and IHS.

It provides architects, contractors, consultants and other construction industry professionals with a collection of essential technical information. The content of the service expands to reflect the ever-changing needs of the construction industry in Ireland.

The service contains full texts of:

• Irish and British Standards and Codes of Practice cited in the Building Regulations
• A selection of other Irish Standards and Codes
• A selection of legislation covering all aspects of the design process
• Guidance material from sources such as Irish Agrement Board, RIAI, Building Research Establishment, Institution of Structural Engineers and the RIBA, including documents cited in the Building Regulations.
