The National Hazard Directory (NHD) is the vital database for all contractors working for Network Rail. NHD contains details of every known railway hazard within the Network Rail infrastructure, covering the whole of Great Britain.
Information contained within the NHD database is a necessary pre-requisite to anyone with a need to plan safe worker and plant access to any of the rail infrastructure. The fully searchable database provides the only one-stop access to thousands of hazards located in and around the Network Rail infrastructure.

IHS works in partnership with Network Rail to continue to improve and enhance, the user-friendly service for National Hazard Directory (NHD) based on subscribers feedback.
